ART FOR EB 2018
3rd Annual Art for EB
August 11th from 4-7PM | Ole Homestead
Art for EB is an annual event that honors Gabe Valentine. The evening features the art of Lee Gibson and provides the opportunity to learn about the challenges of Epidermolysis bullosa (aka) EB. Profits made are donated to EB Research Partnership.
Super Gabe Valentine shared with family before his passing that he wants us to continue to work towards a cure for epidermolysis bullosa (EB). We want to build awareness and raise the funds to make this happen. Because of his wish, we have decided to make Art for EB an annual event.
Please join us on the evening of August 11th from 4-7PM at Ole Homestead in Columbus for our third annual Art for EB in honor of Super Gabe Valentine.
The evening will feature the art of Lee Gibson and also provide the opportunity to learn more about the challenges of epidermolysis bullosa. Lee will have many of her paintings available at special artist pricing established just for this event. A percentage of all the sales will be donated towards EB Research Partnership.
If you purchase a painting this evening, your name will be thrown in a drawing to win a 24”x30” commission from Lee! Additionally, a raffle will be held for a chance to win one of Lee’s original paintings; she will have four to five to choose from! We will draw a winner at 6:30PM. Wine, beer, and hors d-oeuvres will be served. There will also be a few select paintings at an even deeper discount than the regular Art for EB rate that are waiting for just the perfect home. In other words, there is something for everyone this year!
Rufus and Karen Ward have graciously offered their home, Ol Homestead, as the backdrop for this evening. Ole Homestead c.1825 is one of the oldest surviving houses in North Mississippi that has been designated a Mississippi landmark located at 302 College Street, Columbus, MS 39701.
Feel free to message us if you have any questions and we hope you’ll join us for Art for EB 2018! RSVP to our Facebook event page here!
